The Beginning

Last fall was crazy.  I fished the Western Nebraska Tournament Trail event at Harlan County Reservoir with my good friend Cort Heimsoth.  We took first with a 4 fish limit weighing 18.79 lbs, including the Baxter Big Bass kicker of 6.25 lbs.  The event was spectacular as large limits were plentiful.  The event was followed by the passing of my mother, Edith Padgett.  She will be deeply missed.  I am dedicating my 2013 season to her memory as she and my late father (Stephen) were very supportive, often traveling to tournaments with us in the late 90's.
